Ready to take on a dynamic role where creativity fuels pipeline? We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) in the AMERS region who will be responsible for generating new qualified opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting for their Account Executive partners.
As the first point of contact for many of our target prospects, BDRs need to have a strong understanding of our product, the hosting industry, and the ability to communicate value effectively. You'll work closely with Account Executives to develop targeted outreach strategies, qualify leads, and set up meetings that convert into customers.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct proactive outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential customers in the AMERS region.
- Research and build targeted account lists based on ideal customer profiles.
- Craft personalized outreach messages across multiple channels (email, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Qualify leads through discovery conversations to understand their needs and challenges.
- Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to develop account strategies and messaging.
- Continuously learn about our product, the hosting industry, and customer pain points.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets.
- Provide feedback to improve our sales process and messaging.
What You Bring To The Role:
- 1+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or a similar outbound role.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate value effectively.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (we use Salesforce).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Resilience and persistence in the face of rejection.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in the hosting, WordPress, or web development industry.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of sales automation tools and techniques.
- Experience working with Account Executives in a collaborative sales environment.
