Typefully is the premium app for writing and scheduling content on social media, loved by +220K creators and teams at companies like Vercel, Shopify, and Cursor.

As our Head of Content, you'll own content strategy, write exceptional content, run creative campaigns, and help us shape our brand.

This role is special because you'll be writing about writing, for a writing product, to an audience of writers. We're also developing exciting AI features with our usual attention to detail and UX, so you'll be defining what great AI-assisted content actually looks like, and showing the world how to nail it.

We've made it to $2M ARR with almost no marketing, so there's a big potential for impact in this role. This is an opportunity to tap into that unrealized potential, practice the craft of writing at a high level, and learn from our customers.

What you'll do

Although we expect you to help shape your responsibilities, here's a list of things we see you do:

Develop and execute on a content strategy for driving more users to the product
Make high quality content, execute creative campaigns, and shape the Typefully brand
Create go-to-market campaigns for new feature releases that hype the product
Support product messaging and copywriting
Manage and maintain the content calendar
Track content performance and identify what's working and what's not
May involve overseeing other content hires

What we're looking for

Excellent writing skills and love for the craft
5+ years of experience making and publishing content
Strong understanding of SEO and AEO
Advanced at using AI to produce content
You thrive and enjoy working in a remote/async environment with few meetings
Ability to self-manage, organize your work independently, and make things happen

It's a plus if you have experience with graphic design, video, podcasting, product... or, well, surprise us.
