As our new Support Engineer, you'll use your technical knowledge, curiosity, and eloquence to provide world-class technical support to our customers through our live chat system. You'll help customers troubleshoot issues, answer technical questions, and ensure they have the best possible experience with our hosting platform.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional technical support to customers via live chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to WordPress, hosting, and our platform.
  • Help customers optimize their sites for performance and security.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
  • Document solutions and contribute to our knowledge base.
  • Stay up-to-date with WordPress, hosting technologies, and our platform features.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve our product and support processes.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and response times.

What You Bring To The Role:

  • Strong technical knowledge of WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and web hosting.
  • Experience providing technical support in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Patience and empathy when working with customers.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable working with live chat systems and support tools.

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with managed WordPress hosting.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with common WordPress plugins and themes.
  • Experience with performance optimization and caching.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for WordPress.
